Members of the Trainz Community and for those that have visited my website before, I thought I would take a minute and give you an update as to what is going on here at the The Cowboy's Old West and Locomotive Works.

A little about me.  I stumbled across the first version of Trainz shortly after its release and became very interested in the software due to Surveyor.  I enjoy creating things and using my imagination and with the ease at which one can create a world with Surveyor, I was hooked immediately.  Within a couple of months I began creating models for Trainz and soon thereafter the creation of my Website.  That was over 4 years ago.

In the beginning I began creating Old West content and models.  I grew up on a cattle ranch and farm in Southern Idaho and I am a cowboy at heart.  Unfortunately it is tough to make a living these days as cowboy, so I went to Pharmacy school and got all educated and that is what I do for a living.  First out of school I began working for a local hospital on a very easy schedule.  I worked 7-10 hour days, then had 7 days off.  Pretty easy only having to work half the year.  At that time in my life I had a lot more spare time and that is why I created a good number of models for Trainz in the early days.  Then a couple of years ago a fellow pharmacist at the hospital and I decided to buy our own pharmacy, which we did.  Since we both worked 7 on 7 off at the hospital we figured we could run our business on our days off.  Both of us still work full time at the hospital and full time at our business.  I have one day off every 2 weeks and that is all the spare time I have these days.  So my creation of content for Trainz has been very slow over the last 2 years.

I very much still enjoy creating content and I plan on doing so for a long time.  So if you are wondering why my web pages have not been updated for a long time that is why.

I have been working very diligently on finishing the Union Pacific FEF.  I hope to update the pages there soon and I plan on having the model completed in the next 1-2 months.
